SkyTeam announced Copa Airlines as Associate member. However in May 2009 SkyTeam member Continental Airlines and Associate Airline Copa Airlines have made the business decision to depart of SkyTeam. Continental Airlines and Copa Airlines out of SkyTeam 24 October 2009.
SkyTeam announced Kenya Airways as Associate member. Kenya Airways operates scheduled services throughout Africa, Europe and Asia, including India. Kenya Airways’ goals are to achieve world-class standards in service delivery, product quality and operational performance. June 22, 2010 Kenya Airways became full member.
China Southern Airlines, China’s largest airline, became full member of the SkyTeam alliance. However in December 2018 the SkyTeam member have made the business decision to depart of SkyTeam.
